The London Studio Centre is pleased to offer one scholarship to their one week summer school course. Age must be 16+ by 1 July 2012.

Application is by letter from the performer and should reach the Festival Office by 1 March 2012.
The Scholarship is awarded by Adjudicator for the Solo Dances.

This Award started 25 years ago when Bridget Espinosa adjudicated the festival then known as Brighton Competitive Music Festival.

THE SUSSEX SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA DISCRETIONARY AWARD
Singers chosen for the Musical Theatre Final, aged between 16 and 20 and living in Sussex, may be given the opportunity to perform with the Sussex Symphony Orchestra in their 2012 Christmas Spectacular Concert in St Bartholomew’s Church, Brighton
This award will be considered separately from the competition by a representative of the Sussex Symphony Orchestra. The singer selected for the SSO Award will not necessarily be the winner chosen by the Adjudicator, as other factors, such as the suitability of the voice for the orchestra, will need to be taken into account.

POP SONG CLASSES
THE BRIGHTON & HOVE MUSIC, ARTS AND STUDY SUPPORT DISCRETIONARY AWARD
Chosen Singers from Classes 233 or 234 aged between 16 – 21 years (in Sept 2012) and living or going to school in Brighton & Hove, may be given the opportunity to perform with the Brighton & Hove Big Band.
