Miss JAYNE WING

Jayne has been an examiner and committee member with the I.S.T.D national faculty for a number of years and holds her fellowship status with the modern and tap faculty. Jayne is an adjudicator with the British Federation and All England Dance.
Jayne is on the committees of 2 very successful dance festivals in the East Midlands so is used to both organizing and adjudicating.
Jayne started classes at the local dance schools in Leicester and at 16 she went onto The Drusilla Duffill Theatre school where she received the school diploma and the Associate qualification with the ISTD in 4 Genres.
After a brief spell of working professionally in the West End and the U.K. in 1987 she opened the Pirouette Academy of Dance in Leicester which is now an ISTD approved Dance Centre. Jayne has been the principal of the school since the beginning. The school boasts excellent examination results and many pupils from the school now have careers in performing or teaching dance.
Jayne is an approved tutor for the ISTD and tutors at two approved dance centres in the East Midlands as well as being the ISTD Regional Representative for the area.
Mr CHRIS HOCKING, MA
For Classes at The Hawth Theatre, Crawley
Chris trained at the Nesta Brooking School of Ballet where he studied National with Mr. Robert Harold. He then went on to a very successful performing career in the West End, on tour and in regional repertory theatre. Shows include Chicago, Carousel, The King and I, The Rocky Horror Show, Chess, Hot Stuff, On The Town, Barnum and Hello, Dolly! He has choreographed the UK tours of Oklahoma!, Seven Brides For Seven Brothers, South Pacific, Fiddler On The Roof, the British premiere of Jekyll and Hyde and The Rise and Fall of Little Voice. Other credits include Club Tropicana – The 80s musical (which he cowrote) at the Menier Chocolate Factory, Schwartz Stories at The King’s Head, Let Him Have Justice (Cochrane Theatre), Keeler (Charing Cross Theatre), The Railway Children and Wind In The Willows (both Sevenoaks Playhouse). He has directed and choreographed numerous pantomimes around the country. Chris has been awarded the Fellowship of the British and International Federation of Festivals and is an adjudicator member of the organisation. He is honoured to be Chair of All England Dance. Chris has been awarded an M.A. in Choreography from Middlesex University. He is Principal and Director of the Schools of Musical Theatre and Acting at The Arts Educational Schools, London (ArtsEd).
